Expressing What’s On The Web

Top News Events of 2007

May 20, 2008 · Leave a Comment

I have gone too long without posting on my blog, and I aim to get it back on track. The last post I wrote was about the Virginia Tech massacre April 16, 2007. Incidentally, that is my birthday. So many big events have happened right around my birthday. Strange.

What has happened since I last wrote over a year ago?

  • The Surge in Iraq begins to work.
  • The Housing bubble officially burst.
  • Author J.K. Rowling writes her farewell Harry Potter tome.
  • Two groups of scientists in Japan and Wisconsin announced that they had found a way to reprogram human skin cells to behave like embryonic stem cells — without having to make or destroy any embryos.
  • Barry Bonds is the Home Run King. Barry Bonds is indicted.
  • iPhone mania.

That only scratches the surface, but it is a good way to get my blog moving again.
