Life is filled with uncertainty and we should be prepared to handle anything that comes our way. My house has recently grown by two feet, and I want to protect not only mine and my wife’s feet but our newest addition, little Susannah’s feet.
I bought one of those disaster kits, a first aid kid, filled with not only the basic adhesive bandages, but also antiseptic wipes, burn cream packets and a whole host of other essential items.
Since we live just 30 minutes from the ocean and the potential for very bad weather, I am going to buy some other types of disaster kits. There are the food and water disaster kits, the power and light kits and personal protection kits. I am sure there are others, but I want to know that my family is taken care of in an emergency.
