Gary Fong is a retired Wedding Photographer who invented what he dubbed the Lightsphere. That piece of flexible plastic on top of my flash is the most important piece to my images. As Gary has described it, instead of a harsh flashlight beam, the Lightsphere gives off a diffuse shower of light on the targeted subject and area.
I bought my first DSLR, a Nikon D70, in March 2005. I knew that after my wedding in August 2004 I wanted to become a wedding photographer. I have been working as a wedding photographer for a year and a half now, and I have learned so much since my first DSLR purchase.
Whatever kind of photography you do, buy the Lightsphere.
